Product Analytics Vendor Selection Matrix
If you want to start analyzing how your product is used, or upgrade the tool you’re using, you’re not alone.
Instead of guesses, you can craft and test hypotheses. Instead of only relying on customer interviews, you can see in real time how people use your product, understand your users’ needs, and evolve your product to anticipate them.
But… it’s a crowded market and there are a lot of tools out there you could use, but which one will empower you to keep your focus on delivering value?
I created a vendor selection matrix so you can quickly compare the top ones and tailor it to your team’s needs. This matrix also helps take opinions out of the process.
To start, open the Google Sheet and create a copy that you can customize. Change it as you wish to better reflect your particular situation.
The feature matrix worksheet is setup for 15 vendors (I’ve populated 13 of them already) and 15 features (I’ve repopulated a few of these as well). Feel free to add or remove vendors and change the features that you are looking for. Any problems in adjusting the spreadsheet, feel free to contact me.
